Distinguishing AGN from starbursts as the origin of double-peaked Lyman-alpha emitters in the reionization era

We discuss the possible origin of double-peaked profiles recently observed in Lyman-Alpha Emitters (LAEs) at epoch reionization ($z \gtrsim 6.5$) from obscured active galactic nuclei (AGN). Combining extent Lyman-$\alpha$ near-zones estimated blue peak velocity offset these galaxies, with ionizing emissivity quasars $z 6$, we forecast intrinsic UV and X-ray luminosities AGN needed to give rise their profiles. also estimate obscuration by comparing those similar quasar samples epochs. Future radio observations, as well ${James \ Webb Space Telescope}$, will be valuable tools test contribution intergalactic-scale ionization zones high-redshift LAEs.
